Simplicity IT Consulting is a full service IT & Cybersecurity solutions provider that was founded on 2 key principles: making IT simple for small and medium sized businesses and inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals. How do we accomplish those 2 things? We closely partner with technology providers that are pioneers in their space and we don't over complicate the solutions we provide. We never double dip with our partnerships, from EDR/XDR, IAS, Anti-Malware, Servers, etc. By keeping 1 partner for each technology, we are able to build and maintain relationships that make the purchasing, implementation and support process simple and painless.
We are also dedicated to inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals. There is a skill & education gap that exists and children aren’t being introduced to STEM at an early age, especially in underrepresented communities. So, where does Simplicity IT fit in? While money can't fix all the underlying causes, we are dedicated to donating a percentage of our profits to local and regional educational programs that have the mission of expanding access to STEM programs for k-12.

About the founder
Hey there, Alex DeMott here! I have worked in the tech industry for 10+ years, in a variety of different capacities. From larger resellers, local/regional Cybersecurity providers to Education. Throughout my career, I have been told the same thing from a number of clients I’ve worked with.. “Why does this process have to be so complicated” or “I don’t like to explore other technologies because I know it’s going to be a hassle” And they were absolutely right. These larger IT & Cybersecurity companies were more focused on chasing commissions versus setting their client up for success. And to be honest, I was tired of it! My passions are technology and helping people, not chasing commission checks. That's why I founded Simplicity IT Consulting. I am able to work with the leaders in the tech space and find ways to implement those solutions into small/medium sized businesses.

We are passionate about setting up our youth for success, especially in STEM. I can get into all the statistics around STEM in k-12, but it boils down to children are interested in STEM, but aren’t given the opportunity to explore their interests, especially within underrepresented communities. Which is why I am dedicated to making an impact and helping to improve those statistics. Simplicity IT is dedicated to donating resources to k-12 STEM programs in the hopes of providing a better future for our community.
